From Cape Town International Airport, take the N2 highway, direction CAPE TOWN.
Drive approximately 10km on the N2 highway towards CAPE TOWN.
Turn left at turn off: M3, RHODES DRIVE / KIRSTENBOSCH / MUIZENBERG. (Make sure you DO NOT take exit no.7, but the next one, EXIT 6.) Turn left onto M3.
Follow direction MUIZENBERG till the end of M3 highway.
There are two options to get to Simon’s Town: via the coastal road or via the mountain road.
At the end of the M3 highway, at T junction, turn left towards Muizenberg.
Next T junction, turn right towards Muizenberg onto the M4 (also known as Main Road).
Carry on Main Road pass Muizenberg, pass St James along the coast, and go through Fish Hoek. At Fish Hoek circle turn left towards Simon's Town.
You will avoid current road works between Muizenberg and Fish Hoek.
At the end of the M3 Highway, at T junction, turn right at the traffic lights, direction NOORDHOEK / OU KAAPSEWEG/ M64. Just before the third traffic light veer left towards Simons Town via Ou Kaapseweg, a winding mountain road. Pass Silvermine Road. At the bottom of Ou Kaapseweg, go through two sets of traffic lights, also passing KING OF KINGS church which is on your right. Carry straight through the traffic lights onto the Glencairn Expressway/ M6 direction SIMON’S TOWN, another short mountain road. At the bottom of the road, take the T junction to the right towards Simon’s Town.
In SIMON’S TOWN, pass the railway station situated on the left hand sea-side.
300 metres after the railway station, there is a brown B+B sign on the right of the street, follow it up a ramp bordered by palm trees, situated opposite the Anglican Church.
At the top of the ramp, turn right into Arsenal Street.
Turn 1st left into Cornwall Street.
This road becomes Runciman Drive.
Carry on about 800 metres, past Goede Gift junction/3 way stop.
After about 200 metres there are two white pillars on the first right which indicate the entrance to Simonskloof estate.
Turn through the pillars and immediately on the left, on the corner of Nelson Way and Runciman Drive, is a large yellow and caramel house with dark green doors: number 2 Nelson Way. This is our house.
